First alpha

The first private alpha for the game has just been launched! This is great news, as it hopefully will point the game in the right direction acording to the players and not only the developers.

New Update

I thought it might be a good idea to make an update, so here you go.

The radical change that happend some months ago has changed the game completly. The idea of the game is still the same, but the feel and atmosphere is very different now, you will see soon as the first alpha will be ready soon. It will not be a public alpha, but pictures and maybe a video will be available here. Soo stay tuned!

Radical Change

The former graphic designer has left the project, this is of course a sad thing. But it might lead to further progress as the programmer now takes the role as lead graphic designer too. It is a lot of work, but this will hopfully push the project forward.

Not much has happend the last month or so. The programming is still going forward, but we are still in need of a talented spriter/graphic designer to make this game truly great. Until we'll find one, everything but the programming will be on hold.

Back on track

We have now recovered the lost material, and even made further progress with some of the long expected sprites. Some Artwork will probably be added soon, as a step to make the blog more interesting and appealing.

Annoying loss

We made an annoying step backwards in our progress two days ago, because of some problems with the programmer's computer. This will cause some delay, but not any major, because the spriting progress is still slow.

Hello everyone

Right now we're finishing up the last parts of the story, discriptions etc. But we are soon going to make the first parts of our first level. We're really excited about this. It is going to be great to see how it will look when everything come together, for the first time.

We started this project a long time ago, and it is good to see that we are actually going somewhere. The only thing we really need right now is some late drawings. We will try to make as far in the game as possible, and we might try to get a new/another graphic designer in the future.

The Golden Carrot: Dev-blog

The Golden Carrot is a game being developed by a small group of game-enthusiasts within Redwave Games.
